So far we have been doing lots of exciting things, we have tried a lot of new restaurants and boy I can say that shrimp and grits have really grown on me! Haha! We have found a few beautiful hiking trails that we enjoy doing. We have found a wonderful dog park where we can take Miss Lily to play. Miss Lily also celebrated her first birthday! We grilled a small piece of steak for her and she was one happy girl!
I attended a “Sip & Paint” class a few weeks ago and lucky for me it was the “Palmetto at Sunset” painting. You bring your own wine and food to the class and they provide the brushes, paint and canvas. The instructor gives you tips on how to use your brushes and mix the different colors. It was such a fun experience and something I definitely want to do again!
I also celebrated my 28th birthday! We went to fancy dinner downtown and rented a boat to take out, because it happened to be Memorial Day weekend the lake was packed! Miss Lily did great on the boat, she really enjoyed herself! We pulled the boat right up onto the beach and laid out in the sand! We are so excited to do it again soon!
