Tan Lines & Wine: Meet Mrs Tan Lines

I love to do all sorts of things, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends. I love to read new books, and old ones again for that matter, I love to cook and watch cooking shows, I love to lay out and listen to music, I love this even more if it’s on a beach, I love to stare off into space for countless minutes and dream about exotic beaches in faraway places, I love to travel, I love to nap and of course, as my name suggests, I love to drink wine. Some days I want nothing more than to wear sweat pants and baggy t-shirts all day and lounge around with Mr. Tan lines and Wine and then other days I like to shave my legs, put on some lipstick and high heels and hit the town. We love to boat and spend almost every weekend we can out on the lake. I love all types of music but country has a special place in my heart.

I usually cook us a fantastic & healthy dinner then we cuddle on the couch and watch our favorite tv shows while sipping wine and talking about nothing in particular. Weekends are sometimes busy and sometimes spent in bed all day, but we really like to try to get out and do new things, exercise, clean and spend as much time outside when the weather is nice, which is easy living in South Carolina. This is where I call home, we are recent transplants however, I grew up in Northern Virginia and re-located to South Carolina last April with my husband and puppy.

{First Date}

I met my husband in April 2011 and we were married October 26, 2013 in Orange Beach, Alabama. My husband is the most wonderful man. I am thankful every day for having him in my life. We honeymooned in Antigua and it was spectacular. We have also traveled to the Dominican Republic and Cabo San Lucas, among 20+ states within the continental US. We love, love, love to travel and cannot wait to explore more of the world.

My blog is a fantastic journey and I simply talk about what’s on my mind that day, events I want to share or any new recipe I’ve concocted, like me, it’s all over the place and full of surprises :) Here are a few pictures of me and my beautiful family!
